Hugo E Carbajal
Born in Ciudad Juarez, Chihahua, Mexico. Migrated to Denver, Colorado at the age of 10. His interest in acting was sparked by his participation in his high school production of Into the Woods where he played the role of Narrator. He has since dedicated himself to the pursuit of acting by studying it, performing it, and teaching it. He is currently an on-line drama professor at Los Medanos College, as well as working actor pursuing commercial, film, and television in the Los Angeles area.
Hugo earned a Master of Fine Arts in Actor Created Physical Theatre from Naropa University in collaboration with the London International School of Performing Arts.
He has studied improv at the Upright Citizens Brigade and The Groudlings in Los Angeles.
Hugo has performed with great theatre companies in Denver and the San Francisco Bay Area. He is a collective company member of the historic, Tony award winning San Francisco Mime Troupe. He has worked with companies such as: Marin Theatre Company, Shotgun Players, TeatroVision, Su Teatro, among others.
Hugo's first film experience was on the set of Silver City by John Sayles. He has since worked on several short films: El Camino, and Lifeline. He's also been spotted in commercials for Redd's Apple Ale, and El Pollo Loco. He is grateful to have had the opportunity to co-star on television shows such as Scandal, Chance, and The Mick.
